EDIT LINEUPS AND SET ROSTERS FOR SIM USE

Note this tutorial applies to daily roster editing during a season. Prior to the season you should first go into:

Game Menu/Modify Teams/Set Lineups

to prepare your player roles & order for the season. You can do the same thing here, but the tutorial is too long to be repeated. At the least please check out that page so you will know how to use all of the tools available here.

This tutorial will focus on tips for setting up your daily roster and how to set lineups for sim use versus Right Handed Pitchers (RHP) and LHP.

SET 1P OFFENSE / DEFENSE LINEUPS

Note the pitcher is in the #9 slot so this is the DH OFF edit screen, and the green text also says "No DH".

After making changes it's recommended you click the 'Copy' button & paste them to your SIM rosters.

We will edit 'DH On' rosters later...

COPY LINEUPS TO SIM ROSTERS:

Shown on the left is your original roster that you just got done editing. Highlight this roster then click 'X' to select....

Now Paste it to the other two 'DH Off' rosters...

"-1" roster is vs Right Handed Pitchers

"-2" roster is vs Left Handed Pitchers

Leave the DH On rosters alone here. Now click 'OK'

COPY LINEUPS TO 'DH ON' ROSTER:

Now the screen appears to adjust your 'DH ON' lineups. Do the same as above, copy/pasting to the appropriate sim rosters.

VIEW OPPONENT BUTTON:

Here you can see what's coming up next so you can edit your rosters as necessary.

In my next game I'll be facing the Giants ace pitcher. He is right handed; and the game after that you can see I will be facing another RHP. Thus, I may want to edit my 1P roster for strength vs RHP.

Remember your sim roster already has lineups designated vs RHP & LHP.
